This year is a special year for Pride as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots and the beginning of the LGBTQ rights movement. With that said, this year is supposed to be Philly’s largest pride celebration to date and there’s lots to do the entire month of June! MONDAY, JUNE 3RD

The LGBTQ State of the Union

6-8:30pm at the Kimmel Center

At this year's LGBTQ State of The Union, Executive Directors and Board Presidents from Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ specific service organizations will deliver seven minute lighting talk presentations on their accomplishments for the year and their goals for the upcoming year.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6TH

City of Philadelphia Pride Flag Raising & Pride in the Park

5-6pm at City Hall

Following the event, join us in LOVE Park for the first annual Pride in the Park, a huge party featuring food trucks, live performances, DJs, dancing and dedicated youth space!

FRIDAY, JUNE 7TH

Pride kick-off party 6-10pm in the Gayborhood (12th & Locust Streets). 

Beverages, Food, Fun, & more!

Pro tip: You can buy a wristband for the Pride festival at this kick-off party at a discounted rate ($10!)

Gender Queery: A Trans and Non-Binary Drag Show

8-11pm at Stir Lounge

21st annual Philly Dyke March

LGBT Pride Parade & Festival at Penn’s Landing

Wristbands: $15. Available to buy at entrance.

LGBTQ Forest Therapy Experience

Forest Therapy, inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments.

10am-1pm at Awbury Arboretum

Sliding scale $10-$30

An evening dedicated to celebrating the rich diversity among the science and arts community.
